What are some good chat rooms/groups for forex traders?
I tend to get bored and distracted, so if I had a community on Telegram or Skype, it might help to be part of a community. I've searched and found a lot of ie Pakistani or Indonesian ones, and no disrespect, they just seem to be full of spammers and scammers. Anything more serious? Cheers in advance.
Managers face a new challenge–managing a remote forex trader team with more and more Forex companies looking out for outsourcing. Events such as motivational tactics, task control and Communications still require a specialist approach even if this has been simplified using technology and a high-speed Internet. The advantages of employing people on a distance are endless and make your competitive edge easy. Your company can help create a talented team of the best specialists in the market because you can not just hire people from everywhere in the world. This is why a remote employment type will continue to gain momentum in the future. It’s all the challenges that value it. Remote job is very easy–output, autonomy and flexibility. You influence the manner you operate your team, the smoothness and achievement of the company procedures. And although most individuals still think that remote employees are not as productive as usual in office, the reality of the matter is that most remote employees actually see an increase in productivity equal to a complete additional working day. So how do you efficiently handle a distant team? How can you contribute to its growth, commitment and coordination? Below are some tips that we have collected to assist you find the response. TIP 1 – Maintain high performance If your team scatters throughout the world, productivity can be impacted, unless certain measures are taken to keep it. It is not only difficult to say in a virtual environment how much time your staff spend on assignments and how successful they are, but also it is essential to be evident how the entire team handles the workload. Therefore, it is essential that a business process is well thought-out and that several software tools are used. Training tools such as Toggl or Clockify can help you to really understand the processes underway, the amount of time spent on these projects, and the number of breaks taken in real time. This allows executives to identify the weaknesses of each worker and attempt to solve them. This doesn’t imply that you need to overuse these applications and develop stringent procedures. If you work remotely, you are likely to choose this due to the flexibility it provides you. Managers need to strike a balance between liberty and coherent timescales for their staff. For instance, they must decide which communication instruments they use to discuss issues of great significance–Chat with urgent subjects, Email with stuff to wait and Video Calls. Furthermore, all project information must be available to every member of the team (instruments like Google Drive and DropBox may assist). It must also ensure complete transparency and transparency. They also need to bear in mind always that distant workers can all operate in distinct time zones, so that everyone can tune in to a video call, it is essential to discover a time window. Also, when employing persons, you need to ensure that your location time differences are not more than 3 hours from the time zone of your office. Due to time differences, for each conference you always have to have a very clear agenda and must stick to it. Finally, you need to measure the yield to always have your hand on the pulse. Try to list all the main points in the work of each team member that indicate the performance. Set clear objectives with measurable outcomes so you can see clearly what is anticipated and how well your staff are responding to these expectations. Hold monthly reviews in the team to see how all people work together and whether everyone handles them properly. However, do not be scared to give honest feedback, remember that individuals almost always concentrate more on beneficial than adverse points. This is why executives have to be frank and always attempt to discover something useful at the end. TIP 2 – Strengthen communication skills For each team, good communication between employees is essential, but for distant teams in particular. The absence of physical attendance and distinct working schedules can all lead your team members to operate as people instead of a united front. Remote teams effectively need to interact twice if not three times the ordinary team. And executives must support these communications by creating more possibilities. Set some of your team’s prompters. Say you always mark the time places if you are on your schedule for calls. Select and ensure your team uses the primary communication instruments. Implement instruments like Slack, WebEx and Skype and let your staff know that they are available all the time. Agree on the duration of an email reply so that you understand when to expect answers to your message. Try as much as necessary to integrate video calls. IMCCAs have found that, when they actively use video conference instruments, 90% of remote personnel feel more linked with their team. Video enables your team to make a name face and bind better. When you see a individual, it’s always simpler to speak to than just by messaging. Video calling helps your distant team feel moved and isolated less. Share your screen with your team members to facilitate and clarify clarifications. Create distinct channels for sharing of interesting stuff, such as fun stories, suggestions for films or updates on TV shows that you all view. Your purpose is to create a virtual environment that fosters and enhances communication between your team. TIP 3 – Engaging, Inspiring And Motivating The main element of effective teamwork is motivation. Entrepreneur says company costs 450 to $550 billion per year in losses of productivity for an unmotivated or de-engaged employee. Managers who work with remote teams have to invest in them and work hard every day to increase morality. In distant teams it is even more essential to build a powerful corporate culture than in the physical. Begin with transparency, one of the basic elements of a driven team. You need to make sure that all of your team know precisely what the business is doing, its goals and its role. Share corporate news and updates, celebrate your own accomplishments and attempt to make your team feel real. Be frank and let them know you as their leader. Discuss yourselves with them and share your private vision. Describe the stuff you handle at the moment, so they know that you do as difficult as you do. Request your advice on various issues and opinions. Be in keeping with feedback and with your praise in particular. Don’t just ask them to do a nice job, but to highlight certain accomplishments and duties. In corporate public chats, try also to praise your distant staff for their accomplishments throughout the whole business. Create your team’s rituals and traditions. Celebrate the birthdays and unique occasions of your distant staff. Why doesn’t every team member ask for a brief video that you wish to edit later and send to your partner celebrating? Improve camaraderie with true private communication through investments at least once a year in corporate retreats where your distant team can meet in reality. Find out more here about motivating your team. TIP 4 – Select your team with wisely Hiring individuals with the correct distance to work is your halfway to achievement. It’s all about everything else. You can also influence your entire team with a lazy or unprofessional distant worker. This is why certain precautions are essential during the recruitment process. First and foremost, nobody claims you have to employ the individual from the beginning. Test your skills and abilities for a number of months by employing them part-time and giving them the opportunity to work long term when you’re sure they’re a nice addition to your staff. Don’t be stingy with salaries. Just because your employee is working remotely doesn’t mean that they aren’t doing more than your typical office worker does. In most cases, remote workers are actually doing more, so their salaries have to reflect this. Make sure your fresh remote staff can function from home. Do you have a good working environment where you can concentrate without distractions? Otherwise, it may be better to propose either paying for co-working space or buying equipment to build that room at home for them. Take into consideration that your staff can all come from distinct nations and cultures. Learn how to talk obviously and broadly convey your message. Ask your team in their message to use easy phrases and a neutral tone. Maintain a calendar of all global holidays affecting and planning your team members. Make sure fresh staff are quick to retire. Create a guide with all the primary information about your job and the instruments you use. Ask your team members to share their finest advice on remote working. Recall the faster the better they adjust. Managing distance teams can be challenging, but actually you can create a skilled, loyal, hard-working team with a few simple rules to assist your company to succeed.
Hey day traders, I think it's time we try out Reddit's chat feature. It's not as good as discord right now, but I think it can satisfy an area, such as wanting to talk to other day traders that might be trading at the moment while staying on Reddit.com. I'm looking to get at least 3 to 4 chat mods so we can have the right coverage, including chat mods around the globe for example around Asia who speak English, but also Australia, Europe, and West coast. We'll probably have 4 rooms to start:
Requirements are really low:
you can't be a content creator
no penny stock traders
Unfortunately penny stock trading and low volume crypto trading is just going to be moderated out because of the potential for manipulation. As for the sub's icon, feel free to comment what you think would look great on daytrading. Then in a few weeks I'll make another post where we vote on the best icons. Thanks! PS If you're new to day trading, check out the getting started wiki, but if you're an expert at day trading & would like to become a wiki contributor, PM me. update doesn't seem like anyone was interested in Reddit chat, especially since no one volunteered to be chat mods, so I'm dropping this request.
Came across couple threads on here about people discussing SL hunting Market Makers and quite a few said that all this is baloney... Since its Friday and I just finished analyzing the screws ups of the week, I decided to write a short post about the matter from my experience as my PERSONAL opinion. To begin with, Stock Trading and Options communities have a general consensus that some kind of 'shady activities' occur. It's actually almost a mainstream idea, thanks to movies like Wolf of Wallstreet and people like Musky with his 'funding secured'. Along with countless other charged and non charged insider trading individuals and entities. I imagine I don’t have to explain the ‘crypto’ market a place where they actually run ads to join a group and then pump and dump some shitty coin. Anyway enough of other folks, lets move on to Forex. To cut it simply, Banks have already been caught red handed collaborating in chat rooms on how to manipulate the price to their advantage. (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-banks-forex-settlement-idUSKBN0O50CQ20150520) So this should answer your question if there WAS Market Maker who moved markets.... Yes there was and its not some conspiracy theory, they've been found, charged, fined. Its up to you to decide if this is still going on or just stopped overnight. Do these people SL hunt your individual positions? No, but what they do is seek liquidity... Chances are, you have placed SL after your usual textbook analysis at a major support/resistance as many other retailers... Experienced Whale traders at CITI, JP etc know where you have these SL. They also know where you most likely placed your pending buy/sell with tight SL. All they have to do is drive the price enough to take out all of the above and stopped out positions will fuel their direction... Combine that with creation of some 'other pattern' and you have bunch of other people jumping on the train going same directions as the institutional trader. Job done. Now onto the Brokers. From my experience, there is no such thing as a good Market Maker Broker... Yes there are absolute awful unregulated ones with dealing desk where you will most likely never withdraw any profits and some not so bad ones like Oanda, Forex without a dealing desk. Ask how Oanda, Forex.com make their money... They will tell you its by spreads... Open up Oanda and check out average spreads and go to 'maximum' ... You will see some rather crazy spreads during news that if you ever traded on ECN would seem alien to you... Same goes to Rollover... Its up to you to decide if these things are just because Oanda and Gain have liquidity providers that are extremely in-flexible or..... Lets not go far for a recent example, just open up EUUSD 1Minute chart of todays closing. ECN broker closed today at 1.6220 vs 1.6225 aka 0.5 pip spread and thats as high as the price went in last closing minutes... Spread did not jump anywhere much really - I was there to watch it. Now lets open up Oanda chart on Tradingview... What do we see here? A spike to 1.16262 on last minute - now lets go and check Oandas maximum spread at this exact time, we find that it is exactly 6 pips. Lets look at the chart again and think where a small time 'retail trader' that trades on small TF's would put their SL. Probably at 1.16254, 1.16282, 1.16293 area and lastly (same as me) 1.16323 area... Neither one of these would have been hit if you traded with ECN Broker... All of these with exception of last one (would be a really close call) would have been hit by Oanda or Forex.com today. Again its up to you to decide if this is just because Gain and Oanda have such 'interesting' liquidity providers or a broker that makes money on spreads is... you know... making money on spreads... So here is my 2 cents... This again is my personal opinion.
Six Days With iMarketsLive and what I think of what they have to offer- since I have not found anything more in my research than "they're an obvious scam- it's not worth your time" and no actual reviews of what they do.
First my expectations: I've been looking at iML as a way to get a 'mentored start' with forex trading- As well as to get access to take a look at what kinds of trades some more experienced traders are making- in order to add that to my own fledgling market exposure. I had also hoped that if I could identify when one of their traders was making a very obvious good move I'd be able to mirror the trade, and make a bit of profit. I stepped in fully prepared to withstand all their bro-hype making it very clear that I would never involve myself in their bullshit pyramid recruiting. My two goals were to see if my education could be expedited, and to make enough to pay off the monthly fee. Here's what I got: Immediately my "mentor" sent me a plan that I was to follow (without skipping ahead) listing my progression through their forex education program. The first 30 days (which cost ~$220) was learning forex trading basics buy watching a series of 5-10 minute PPT presentation videos introducing you to forex trading for 1 hour each day. and it seems like good information, but as far as I can tell it doesn't seem like anything you couldn't learn for free. I fully expect babypips to have all the same information and probably presented in much clearer terms.) The next 30 days (~$190) is tuning in to live or recorded videos to watch iML traders analyzing charts and trading, probably showing how they use stop losses, draw trendlines etc. At this point we are directed to consult our mentor to choose a non U.S. regulated broker that will let us use the leverages used in the strategies they employ, and then start a demo trading on metatrader. The next 60 days (2 months x $190) is continuing to demo trade while subscribing ($15 monthly) to the swipetrades app (which seems to me like mirror trading (basically you look at trades other iML people [of your choice] have made and swipe left to reject, swipe right to copy all the trade info -entry points, stop losses etc- for pasting into MT4) and continuing to watch the iML TV traders. You are also supposed to subscribe to the super bro-powered harmonic analyzer at this point (another $15/month) which you hook up to your MT4 account and set up alerts or something, but apparently you have to leave it ruining on your PC at home all day? I'm seeing that a lot of new recruits keep complaining in the group chat that they can't get their computer to stay awake and ensure they get their mobile alerts. (Any chance having their "harmonic analyzer" running 24/7 while your away could be sketchy?) After these 4 months of education and practice that cost you ($850-$910) you may fund your account and begin trading. Observed cons: -Well... The whole thing is a con if you ask me. Can any of you tell me any one thing I've mentioned that you cannot access for free elsewhere? -You have to pay $190/month for the privilege of subscribing to a $60/month service. That's pretty well bullshit. -CONSTANT STREAMS OF BRO TALK, ENDLESS BRAINWASHING ABOUT HOW GREAT iML IS, AND THE iML "FAMILY." -generally no "negative" attitudes/messages are allowed in the iML Telegram chat rooms. This pretty much just means that they don't appreciate it much if you talk too much about any losing streaks you may be on, or (more probably) if you notice you're making consistent losses by following any particular iML trader. In my opinion the fact that this was mentioned at all is a huge strike against any potential transparency about how this all actually works out for the average recruit. Pros: In actually digging the idea of a very active forex chatroom where people comment on their predictions for what's going to happen with which pairs, and how previous trades turned out for them where you get mobile notifications when traders post. If it was treated more professionally in a more mature crowd, without all the pretention of "family" (the truth is we're ALL competing here), and the bro talk, and with the disclaimer that you're responsible for your own risks, this could be a great learning tool. If there is something similar out there that I'm unaware of, if love to hear about it. Anyhow that's my $0.02. Now I'm off to go cancel my account and get my refund. Cheers! TL;DR: they're an obvious scam, not worth your time.

''' I’m thinking you’re thinking that I’m saying that my moderators just approve anyone. That’s incorrect. I was referring to the 10-13 crypto groups I been in where that was going on and yes that is a problem. They just approve anyone. So how are ppl going to connect and learn if the mods of those groups just approve bad actors. 10-13 of those groups were just posts after posts of Ponzi schemes, bitcoin doublers, fake forex/binary traders and so on. That’s why I took over Crypto Community and changed it around. So to clear and hopefully prevent further confusion, this is how I do things in my group. 1.)I have a group on Messenger with the admin/mods in the chat. This allows Admin and Mods to be on the same page as to what’s going on and what needs to be done. I saw that the lack of communication between admins and mods in other groups were nonexistent. Each mod was doing their own thing and admins an mods arguing with each other over something that was done that the admins didn’t want done. 2.)Other crypto groups I been in was mostly a.)Open join groups or b.)Open post groups or c.) both In Crypto Community you have to answer questions to join. Posts need to be reviewed before they can be approved to be posted. 3.)If someone is serious about joining I think they would take the time to answer the questions fully instead of listing yes for one question and leaving others unanswered or listing yes down the line. If they don’t answer the questions fully or if they don’t answer the questions they get denied. I don’t care if you type yes, yes, yes, because the questions are not closed ended except one. You MUST answer all questions fully. Failure to answer the questions will result in your request to join to be denied. Please read the RULES! By joining do you agree to abide by the RULES? Yes is accepted here. What do you plan on sharing in the group? This helps us if they plan on sharing trading, forex or binary or news or something else. If they list binary or forex or bot trading or crypto program to make money. They will be denied. How long have you been into Cryptocurrency and why did you get into Cryptocurrency? This gives us an idea how long they been in it and if they got into it because of “free money” or because they value the idea of what it’ll do. 4.)Admins and mods will try to view members public profile if available to see if they have scams listed on their feed or other questionable content. Members who have joined FB recently within last 6 months are usually denied. 5.)We have learning units enabled to create learning modules that members can take to help promote better understanding. As you can see, it’s not a joke to me. I want to create a room where learning, real discussions can take place and with ambassadors this will allow projects to become more known. Say RVN or Grin is a new project and someone only been in crypto for 2 months and only know of BTC, ETH, LTC and XRP. Well now they can see posts about Grin and RVN and learn about it and ask questions. Any questions from you on any of this? BlockChain Enable a Quadrillion-Dollar Derivatives Market?
https://preview.redd.it/iwewapkg8mz11.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=9b52f51960172844af71917aec191dcfd6031bf9 CAN BLOCKCHAIN ENABLE A QUADRILLION-DOLLAR DERIVATIVES MARKET? IT’S A REAL POSSIBILITY. By 2028, the world economy has exploded with exponential economic growth. BlockChain is now the heart of commerce and trade. Investopedia’s valuation on the Derivatives Market now stands true at $1.2 quadrillion. And you are now very rich with your array of futures, derivatives and cryptocurrencies on hand. Isn’t this a nice possibility? Now, imagine travelling back to 2018. You are scrolling your news feed. The headlines show in 2017 alone, BlockChain startups have raised $1.2 billion worth initial coin offering (ICOs). ICOs enable startups, to raise money from the general public by allowing them to buy a stake in their business; which comes in a form of a token or digital currency. It looks like the public are beginning to understand the potential of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. A Facebook notification pops up on your mobile phone. Your friend has posted an article on your Facebook wall. The article is about Ethereum, the hot new BlockChain technology that is creating even bigger ripples in the finance world than its predecessor BitCoin. It seems that Ethereum is now the birthplace of many decentralized platforms, which raise funds via ICOs. As more funds are raised, these platforms get better and this drives up the value of Ethereum. The top platforms are Golem, Augur, Basic Attention Tokens and Gnosis, which collectively ring in $1.27 billion in market value. The amount of money that has been invested into Ethereum based BlockChain technology shows that people see Blockchain as the future of commerce and finance. This all sounds good and you’re ready to participate in a hot ICO. But as a possible new investor in an ICO based on the Ethereum blockchain, how do you get started? Which platform and ICO should you consider investing in?
YOU WILL NEED TO GET A WALLET. Wallets are like digital bank accounts, they hold your tokens and other cryptocurrencies you plan to buy and hold. Most ICOs are built on Ethereum smart contracts and your Wallet has to support receiving tokens. In an ICO, you send currency (typically ETH or BTC) to the company issuing a new token and receive the amount of tokens based on the given exchange rate by the company. MyEtherWallet is one of the most popular Ethereum Wallets because it is linked to the BlockChain, has excellent security features, and best of all it gives you full control of your Wallet (unlike other online wallets that are controlled by third party companies). You can get MyEtherWallet here.
RESEARCH EXTENSIVELY ON AVAILABLE ICOS As with any form of investment, you need to do your research and due diligence. Unlike the research on conventional investments that look at statistics, company performance, average daily volume and annual yield, ICOs require a different kind of analysis. Often times, millions of dollars are raised in ICOs with no product or company track record. Most traditional investors would not invest as the risk outweigh the gains from the investment. It feels like a gamble.
How then would you know if an ICO is worth investing into? First of all, you would need to study its platform concept, market potential and sustainability for long-term growth. Is it easy for users to adopt and understand? Do the Founders and Developers of the platform have sound knowledge of economics, inflation, block size, fees, administration, security and human behavior? Does the crypto-economic system have what it takes to be sustainable? Who is the team behind the platform? Are they knowledgeable and experienced? Is this a revolutionary or game-changing product that has massive market potential? Take Level01 as an example. It is the World’s First Brokerless Derivatives Exchange in Partnership with Thomson Reuters. The concept is innovative, more importantly; it has an enticing proposition because it addresses gaps, issues and problems faced by traditional trading markets. This facilitates a stable, robust and potentially profitable investment eco-system. How so? Remember Investopedia’s valuation of the derivatives market at a thrilling $1.2 quadrillion? This estimate is debatable because it needed to consider, “notional value”, versus actual market value. The lack of certainty on pricing and not having accurate market data can be frustrating. Brokers also charge a fee for both ends; buying and selling, which makes it expensive to participate in trade. In addition, not everyone relishes in the prospect of understanding financial data, terms and conditions. These factors are barriers to entry that reduces the pool of investors in the derivatives market. The Founders of Level01 saw all these and sought to develop solutions that can make investing easy, transparent, secure and fair, by using the Blockchain and partnership with financial market leader, Thomson Reuters. AN APP THAT MAKES ANYONE A BETTER INVESTOR Whether you are a first time investor or an experienced investor, the Level01 App will help you make better investment decisions, save time and get better at investing in the Derivatives Market. Its sleek interface, smart data feed and intuitive features are designed to fit all investor types to make the trading experience as easy as 1, 2, 3. CHANGING THE GAME WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE When you log on, the Level01 platform, you will have FairSenseTM Artificial Intelligence on hand to analyze trade intent patterns of all users on the platform to find the best matches for you. Once a match is found, it employs its proprietary dynamic fair price-balancing algorithm to show fair pricing for both sides of the trade contract. This saves investors time, speeds up trade, and keeps inflation in check with fair pricing. CREDIBLE AND RELIABLE DATA FEED FROM THOMSON REUTERS Level01 raised the bar further by collaborating with Thomson Reuters. They integrated and enabled live streaming real-time market prices for Forex, Index, Cryptocurrency, Commodities and Stocks directly from Thomson Reuters, a global leader for information and data sources for professional markets. Having a 150-year-old brand name like Thomson Reuters lends tremendous credibility to the data and keeps investors informed of actual value prior to the commencement of the trade. AUTOMATED SMART CONTRACTS As if that was not enough, the Level01 is designed as an exchange and trading platform with a system of smart contracts that resolves trust, emotion and irresponsibility in an efficient, transparent, automated manner. These automated digital contracts saves time and money for investors so that they can concentrate on analyzing data and deciding on investments. SUSTAINABLE GROWTH DRIVEN BY USERS You may be thinking by now, that is all well and good, but what are they doing to make this unique Derivatives Exchange sustainable and primed for growth? The designers of Level01 looked towards attracting quality investors by incorporating a fair rating system based on statistics and empowering them with the ability to add value to the network, and derive value for themselves. Level01 rewards users when they participate in the ecosystem. To make it even more enticing, the Level01 platform enables Trade Room Hosting, which allows users to earn commission. These lucrative set points are attractive to users who will jump on board and increase the liquidity base, which of course, benefits everyone. BETTER FINANCIAL LIQUIDITY Sometimes being able to sell is as important as being able to buy. This means your assets and investments can be easily converted to cash. Level01 gives you full control over your own funds by allowing your deposits and withdrawals to be done instantly. You can also change the native platform LVX tokens between BitCoin and Ethereum for better financial liquidity. WIDER FINANCIAL PORTFOLIO Level01 allows you to trade both traditional and cryptocurrency market assets to give you greater ease and freedom to plan a diverse portfolio to suit your needs whether you like to play it safe or take profitable risks. DIVERSE AND EXPERIENCED TEAM An international team with accolades, achievements and awards helms Level01 Derivatives Exchange. There is a mathematician and data analyst, a software engineer and system architect, a highly ranked digital marketing specialist, an expert in corporate operations, a consultant in banking and finance, a key quantitative analyst consultant who over saw $25B AUM, a corporate strategist and brand planning expert and an inventor-CEO with a string of successes under his belt, including founding a successful public listed company in Australia. GROWING INTEREST Level01 just begun but it is already making waves in the cryptocurrency and investment world. Forums and chat groups are buzzing with conversations as seasoned cryptocurrency investors hop on the bandwagon, eager to sweep up ICOs before the rest of the world notices. Coin Telegraph, which is the top news portal on cryptocurrency, described Level01 partnership with Thomson Reuters as a great game-changer that will allow general public to trade derivatives like a pro using big data previously only available to institutional traders. Could this be your ticket to making your 2028 the best year ever? As if you invested in Google back in 2004. You can check out more about this upcoming platform here.
Just my thoughts about the market.... https://youtu.be/0yJ93TcpXiM Inspired by the late David Elliot aka FirstWave. A video of 20 minutes of me rambling about the stock market. I'm considering doing more of these videos, but really don't know if there are many people that would be interested in them. This video is a broad overview of the market in a longer term sense, but I can do intraday analysis as well and look at shorter term trade opportunities. In this video I only talk about the S&P 500. If anybody has any interest in more specific content, let me know. I can look at pretty much any index, stock, futures contract, or forex contract. Please like and subscribe to my youtube channel if you're interested so I know to post more stuff. If nobody is interested, then I'm not going to pollute the internet with more of my blabbering. About myself... I studied David Elliot's trading method meticulously before he passed away. He used to have a chat room on the thinkorswim platform, and also had a private live trade room during the day where he mentored students. David was passionate about the market and provided tons of free mentoring to the world in regards to technical analysis. I had the privilege of being in his trade room and following his trades in real time for a couple months and learned quite a bit from him. I want to carry on his tradition of sharing knowledge about the market and cultivating a group of like minded technical traders. He used proprietary indicators, some of which are available for free through thinkorswim. I use some of those as well as his "Hinge" indicator which isn't widely available. My goal is to post daily market reviews for a broad subscriber base and - optimistically - I would like to host a live trade room where we trade futures and / or options.
AgenaTrader to Launch New Kind of Social(ized) Trading, TradersYard
The new service combines a web-based social trader network with a conferencing environment Multi-asset class and multi-connectivity trading platform AgenaTrader is launching a brand new social trading solution. The firm is focusing its attention on a unique aspect of the trading decision making process. A web-based social trader network is combined with a conferencing environment, to enable the creation of virtual trading rooms across the world. Join the industry’s gathering! The platform, which can be connected to different brokers at the same time, supports trading in stocks, futures, forex and CFDs. The firm is already working on integrating options trading into the product. TradersYard will be demoed by AgenaTrader CEO Gilbert Kreuzthaler The major advantage of AgenaTrader is the deeply integrated semi-automated trading approach, which involves tools for drag and drop signals and strategy programming, risk definition, and an extremely powerful scanner which allows the possibility to scan for signals in over 1000 symbols. Starting strategies on scanner signal – ‘one click strategy trading’ – completes the toolset and enables extremely fast decisions whilst AgenaTrader automatically calculates entry, stop and target levels in combination with pre-calculated order sizes. Innovative Trader Network The company has considered several aspects of online trading for retail investors. Being mostly a lonely endeavor, and one of the reasons behind trading failure, AgenaTrader is focusing on the social trading aspect. The company is launching www.TradersYard.com, which is ostensibly an innovative open social trader network. It will be accessible to everyone. Within TradersYard, traders can find other traders with similar trading styles, with the ability to group each other, share information and analysis. TradersYard goes much further than the standard functions of forums. Traders can create public, protected and private groups where the owners can decide who will be able to participate – just like a social network function. TradersYard+ Conferencing System The real added value of TradersYard is TradersYard+ with the integration of a conferencing environment, which is encrypted and controlled by Include IT/AgenaTrader. In addition to the posting and chat possibilities of the TradersYard web platform, the conferencing environment offers audio/video/desktop streaming. This enables the possibility for traders to build virtual trader offices across the world, irrespective of using the AgenaTrader platform. TradersYard and TradersYard+ can be used by anyone, whether interested or active in the financial markets or not. In such virtual offices, traders can meet each other face to face and share their ideas, analysis, and even trades. Traders who own AgenaTrader have options available for trade sharing, copy trading, and other social trading concepts. The TradersYard Group concept provides the capabilities to open prop trading rooms or to visually organize face to face communication for trading departments of institutional organizations. “The combination of a social network with a conferencing platform is absolutely unique in the market and opens up incredible possibilities,” says Gilbert Kreuzthaler, CEO of Include IT/AgenaTrader. “The current experiences are proof, that most Traders are not ‘lone wolves’. It shows, that traders are heavily looking to socialize with other market fighters.” AgenaTrader´s partners comprising of educators, mentors, and brokers, can utilize the TradersYard ecosystem for educational services to a highly targeted audience. TradersYard will support these partners to reach the user and create a win/win situation for partners and traders. Traders need a broker and as AgenaTrader is an advanced trading platform the company can refer traders to their broker partners. The whole concept can also be white labeled by brokers or investment houses. If such a company wants to set up their own social platform, conferencing system and also provide AgenaTrader to their customers, either the whole package or single components can be offered to their customer base. Gilbert Kreuzthaler further mentioned: “In our beta launch we have experienced that users find this concept extremely helpful and love the idea and functionality capabilities. It’s exciting to hear that they can find each other via the social Web-platform, share trading ideas, analysis, start visually meeting each other within their virtual trading offices and even send trades into their groups. This can be commented or picked up by their colleagues. Personal relationships are being built within this platform, taking users out of their loneliness, which becomes an added value for them. I’m very sure that TradersYard will have a deep impact in the trading industry and be massively used by retail traders, Prop and Institutional trading firms.” Kreuzthaler will reveal AgenaTrader’s new platform at the Finance Magnates London Summit next week.

Hey guys, New to Forex and all that but eagerly learning as much as possible. My idea is this, I want to day-trade with Forex and I want to do it during a specific two hour window. This window will be concrete. Trading begins then and ends after two hours. Maybe an hour before for research but no matter how up you are or how low you sell at that point. It's basic right now but I'd love any input on it, just the general idea right now, we'll get to the actual trading thoughts once we figure out the general stuff :) Also-during this two hour window I was thinking of having a chat-room and any day-traders who were also on during that time could come and talk to me while this was going on.

NEW YORK Five of the world's largest banks, including JPMorgan Chase & Co and Citigroup Inc, were fined roughly $5.7 billion, and four of them pleaded guilty to U.S. criminal charges over manipulation of foreign exchange rates, authorities said on Wednesday. A fifth bank, UBS AG, will plead guilty to rigging benchmark interest rates, the U.S. Justice Department said. U.S. banks JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup will pay $550 million and $925 million in criminal fines, respectively, as part of their guilty pleas. British banks Barclays Plc will pay $650 million in criminal penalties and Royal Bank of Scotland Plc $395 million. Euro dollar traders at four of the banks described themselves as members of "The Cartel" and used an electronic chat room and coded language to manipulate exchange rates to increase profits, the Justice Department said. Barclays will pay a $60 million criminal penalty for violating an earlier non-prosecution agreement with the Justice Department to resolve a probe of the manipulation of the London interbank offered rate, or Libor, and other benchmark interest rates.
